Capitol Reef Tours

CATHEDRAL VALLEY
For travelers with a sense of adventure and a high-clearance vehicle, you may find yourself (and your travel buddies) alone in a rugged and beautiful place. Better, get a permit and stay the night and you’ll be gazing up in awe at imposing monoliths stretching for starry skies

Waterpocket Fold
The Waterpocket Fold is the definitive feature of Capitol Reef National Park in southern Utah. A nearly 100-mile (160 km) long warp in the Earth’s crust, this fold is a classic monocline: a regional fold with one very steep side in an area of otherwise nearly horizontal layers.

CAPITOL REEF PREMIER

PLEASANT CREEK & SOUTH DRAW
For over one hundred miles, the earth’s crust was pushed up on the west side and dropped down on the east, causing a huge bend or wrinkle in the layers of rock.

HALLS CROSSING
Halls Crossing and the surrounding land of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area has many canyons, beaches, cliffs, dunes and slickrock, all ideal for UTV tours and hiking.
